Peshawar, (monitoring desk): A moderate 5.2 earthquake was felt overnight in the parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Malakand, Swat and Chitral, officials said on Sunday.
People were busy with taking sehri to begin their fast in the holy month of Ramadan in Swat, Malakand and Chitral when they, feeling the tremors, rushed out of their houses.
According to the meteorological department, the epicenter of the quake that was measured 5.2 at Richter scale, was located in Hindu Kush Mountain.
