Tauqir Sadiq likely to be brought back to Pakistan on Sunday


DUBAI : Former chairman OGRA, Tauqir Sadiq is likely to be brought back to Pakistan on Sunday following his delivery by Dubai authorities to Interpol.
 Media reports said former chairman OGRA Tauqir Sadiq who is major accused in mega corruption scam of 82 billion rupees was produced in Federal Court of Dubai on Thursday. Later Dubai Authorities handed him over to Interpol. He will now be handed over by Interpol to Pakistan investigation team.
NAB sources said  Tauqir Sadiq is likely to brought back to Pakistan by PIA flight on Sunday. Stringent security measures

have been taken in this regard. Tauqir Sadiq will be brought to Pakistan till late night or early in the morning. He will be kept in a house at posh area of federal capital which has been accorded status of investigation cell by NAB.
NAB has sent letter to DG ASF, IG Islamabad and interior ministry to provide security to Tauqir Sadiq.
ASF has given permission to provide NAB team vehicles access on run way and arrest of Tauqir Sadiq.
Sources said Muhammad Ali,  former chairman of Security Exchange of Pakistan  and commissioner Imtiaz Haider are likely to be apprehended  following arrest of Tauqir Sadiq. (Monitoring Desk)
