Consensus is must for the presidential election: Liaqat Baloch

WANEEKAY TARAR: Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Liaqat Baloch has said that consensus is must for the presidential election in the country.
He said that senior leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has contacted JI for the presidential election, while JI would work out its plan in 2 or 3 days in this regard.
Talking to media persons in Donors’ conference of Al-Khidmat Foundation on Monday, Liaqat Baloch said that after the election of Prime Minister PM, Chairman Senate and Speaker National Assembly

from one province it is must that president be elected from smaller province.
“ It will be better for the future of country and politics if all political parties develop consensus on one personality from Balochistan for the post of president”, he added.
He said that baseless trust should not be done on India because India has always betrayed Pakistan, while Kashmir Policy should be restraint and base of negotiations with India should be Kashmir only.
Liaqat stated that it is not that Pakistan for which Quaid-e-Azam dreamed, only specific class has gained all priorities and privileges in Pakistan now, while general public is deprived of from bread and butter.
Muslims of Bangladesh loves Pakistan but no institution including government of Pakistan has condemned the death and life imprisonments punishments awarded to 90 year old patriot, he concluded.
