Pakistan, Turkey agree to enhance cooperation in Oil & Gas sectors


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Turkey have agreed to further enhance the cooperation in the Oil & Gas sectors to help Pakistan cope with its energy shortfall.
Turkish ambassador Mustafa Babur Hizlan on Monday called on Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi here on Monday and discussed various issues in mutual cooperation.
The Minister while welcoming the Turkish ambassador, stated that present government attached the utmost importance to its cordial ties with Turkey and was determined to take these relations to even higher level by expanding mutual cooperation in all fields.
He assured the ambassador of his government’s cooperation to achieve their common goals. The Minister

stated that Pakistan has always appreciated and welcomed the cooperation extended by Turkish Government in various sectors of the economy.
The Turkish ambassador told the Minister that his experience as an ambassador to Pakistan has been very enriching. The ambassador expressed the resolve that he would consistently endeavor to achieve the mutually cherished goal of taking this relationship to a new height.
He assured that the Government of Turkey would extend all possible help to Pakistan in the energy sector and share its experience of successful projects.
