People enter into assemblies with the support of smugglers: CJP


ISLAMABAD(Monitoring Desk)Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has remarked  people enter into  assemblies with the help of smugglers.
 “ Future of nation is at stake due to drugs. Cancer has crept into the veins of children.   As to why Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) does not prevent this menace from spreading. It is inability on the part of ANF that wrong people are apprehended and Ayub Afridi is its example”, he gave these remarks while hearing drug smuggling case here Friday.
Justice Gulzar Ahmad remarked “ transport owners take with them drugs. Drug war is continuing in Layari at

present too.
Suleman Akram Raja counsel for ANF said 90 percent drug smuggling is being carried out from across Afghanistan and efforts are underway to curb it.
Justice Ejaz Chaudhry remarked “ Drug trafficking has increased due to ANF. Had ANF  done this job , it could have reined in drug smuggling in collaboration with other force. This poison  is spreading in the veins of children now.
The court ordered ANF to take stern action against the drug traffickers within two weeks and present report thereof before it. The hearing of the case was adjourned for two weeks.
