Waziristan lies in northwestern semi-autonomous tribal belt, which US considers the main hub for Taliban and al Qaedan.
Hours before, terrorists attacked FC (paramilitary force) convoy at Budh Bair, a suburb area of Peshawar which killed 17 people including three security personnel and 5 children. More than 45 people wounded in the attack.
The wave of violence has been continuously on surge since the oath taking of newly elected governments in centre and in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, which some termed is a bid to foil peace efforts. News Agencies
