UK to help Pakistan overcome energy crisis


LAHORE,: UK Foreign Secretary William Hague said his country would extend all out cooperation to Pakistan in overcoming energy crisis.
He expressed these views while meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here.
Foreign Secretary William Hague said Britain wants to promote its trade and economic ties with Pakistan.
Speaking on the occassion Shahbaz Sharif  said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Britain and wants to further promote economic ties with it.
He said Pakistan had been facing various challenges

and it had to deal with energy crisis and terrorism simultaneously.
Shahbaz Sharif said that power generation projects from biomass‚ biogas and solar power could be launched in Punjab and Britain could extend cooperation for this purpose.
