Govt to provide electricity equally to all provinces: Musadiq Malik

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister for Water and Power Dr. Musadiq Malik has said that load-shedding has been reduced throughout the country and government would soon introduce energy policy to overcome the crisis.
In an interview‚ he said that the capacity of generating electricity is 14000 Megawatt and demand is 17000 Megawatt.
He said the government is working to upgrade electricity system throughout the country to reduce load-shedding.
Dr Musadiq said due to power theft government is

facing loss of Billions of rupees.
He said federal government would provide electricity equally to all the provinces according to their needs.
He said government would assure recovery of electricity dues and would control power pilferage.
