Ten including 2 policemen killed in Karachi violence


KARACHI : At least ten people were killed during the last 24 hours in different violence and firing incidents in metropolis’ areas.
Terrorists killed two people in a firing incident in Baldia Town. Another man was killed with a sharp-edge weapon in Garden Bagh Halar.
Constable Riaz was killed and Salim was critically injured in an indiscriminate spray of bullets by unidentified miscreants near Furniture Market in Karimabad.
SSP Central Amir Farooqui said some armed men were busy with looting people on the road; they

opened gunfire as they spotted the policemen around.
Ghulam Mustafa, an ASI was shot to death in Sindhi Muslim Society.
A man was killed in a firing incident in Korangi’s industrial area.
Maulana Salimullah, an imam of Jamia Imamia was gunned down in Khamosh Colony. Another man, 40-year Rehman Shah lost his life in a firing incident in Kemari area of Gulshan Sikandarabad.
Body of a 30-year youth was found from Lyari area of Bihar Colony. The deceased was abducted and tortured to death.
Three-day-old body with torture marks was recovered from a sewage nullah near Metro Cinema in Orangi Town. (News Agencies)
