Yaqoob Nasar of PML-N, Rauf Lala of PKMAP elected as Senators

QUETTA (Staff Reporter) - Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasar of PML-N and Abdul Rauf Lala of Pashtounkhwa Milli Awami Party were elected as Senators by securing 24 and 22 votes respectively.
PML-N’s Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir, Pashtuonkhwa Milli Awami PKMAPAbdul Rauf Lala and JUI’s Haji Wali Mohammad were the contestants for the two Senate seats.
Total 62 members of the Balochistan Assembly casted their votes for the two Senate seats that fell vacant due to Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani’s resignation and Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani’s being elected as MNA.
