PM directs security agencies to help Balochistan govt


QUETTA(Staff Reporter) Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived here on Tuesday where he was briefed on the law and order situation in Balochistan.
The PM flew to Quetta in emergency visit to Quetta following the wave of terrorism in the provincial capital.
The premier was accompanied by Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan, Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai, DG ISI Lt-Gen Zaheerul Islam, the DG Intelligence Bureau (IB), and other top officials.
Balochistan Governor and Chief Minister briefed the prime minister about the law and order situation and it is expected that directives to overcome issues would

be given immediately.
The prime minister directed the security agencies to extent full cooperation to the government of Balochsitan for restoration of peace in the province.
PM said he would hold consultations with other political leaders on his return from  China reagrding law and order situation.
The representatives of the Hazara community also met the Prime Minister.
The PM assured the Hazar community that authorities to address their complaints and their lives will be protected.
Nawaz was also scheduled to meet with the family members and relatives of the victims of the bombing on Sunday.
Strict security measures were adopted by the provincial administration during the visit of premier, and Frontier Corps (FC) and police personnel were deployed on all roads leading to the Governor House
The Prime Minister directed the authorities concerned to provide best medical facilities to the injured of the blast and also prayed for their early recovery.
Talking to media persons after his meeting with CM Blaochistan, PM Nawaz Sharif said that federal government would offer all possible support to the provincial government to curb the menace of terrorism and for the improvement of law and order in the country.
He said Balochistan government was now in the right hands and its policies would yield good results un near future.
