MAKKAH : The Shariah Medical Committee in Makkah has fined two expatriate doctors a total of SR84,375, to be paid as blood money for their negligence that caused the death of an 8-year-old girl.
The two Pakistani doctors had worked at King Faisal Hospital in the city.
One of doctors, who worked in the emergency room, was fined SR56,250 for failing to properly evaluate the girl's condition and ask her parents about her medical history.
