ISLAMABAD, : Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan emphasized on Pakistan's role in the run up to December 2014 and the emerging scenario in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of ISAF forces.
He was talking to British Foreign Secretary William Hague who called on Interior Minister here on Wednesday.
Khan sought British cooperation for improvement of immigration system‚ making Islamabad a model city and checks on illegal immigrants.
The British Foreign Secretary assured the Minister of all possible assistance and cooperation on controlling the issues faced by Pakistan.
William Hague also assured to extend every possible help to counter terrorism‚ control of narcotics and institutional support for the security agencies of Pakistan.
