Class 7 girl molested by two teachers in India

New Delhi : In another shameful act, two teachers in Indian city of Ghaziabad, near Delhi, molested their teenage student, Indian media reported on Thursday.
The Indirapuram police arrested two teachers of a private school in Vaishali for allegedly molesting a 12-year-old Class 7 student.
The accused were identified as Navin Singh, a music teacher, and Gaurav Sharma, who teaches physics to students of Classes 9 and 10.
The victim's mother said that her daughter was crying inconsolably when she returned home from school on Wednesday. Upon enquiry, the girl said that Sharma had forcibly taken her to the washroom and held her hand. She added that Singh, too, had done the same on Monday and threatened her with punishment if she revealed to anyone what had

happened.
But the school's principal denied the allegations which, she claimed, were an attempt to malign the school. She added that the girl's parents barged into the school on Wednesday and broke windows and furniture.
"We have filed an FIR under section 354 of the IPC. Both teachers have been arrested," said Nitin Tiwari, senior superintendent of police.
