BNP announces demonstrations, shutter down


QUETTA(Staff Reporter) Balochistan National Party has announced to hold demonstration, shutter down and closure of national highways for indefinite period. The announcement was made for end to death squads, change of election results and political situation in the province.
Addressing a Press conference BNP leaders ex MNA Abdul Rauf Mengal and central Deputy Secretary Akhtar Hussain Langov said that demonstrations would be staged on July2, shutter down on July 4 and closure of national highways for an indefinite period.
They said that FC, ATF and Death squad targeted leaders of Zamindar Action Committee and protestors

and resorted to state terrorism on them in Wash. Several protestors were injured. Activists of death squad opened fire on passenger wash in Wadh in which three persons were killed and several were injured.
They said death squad carry out target killing and abduction for ransom in collaboration with FC and there is none to stop them.
They said on May 11 candidates of establishment faced defeat and instead of admitting their defeat they targeted BNP workers in Khuzdar and Wadh. They said zamidnars protested for their rights but activists of death squad tortured them. With the result shops are close din Wadh bazaar for one week and people were facing difficulties in obtaining food and other goods.
They said provincial government and administration held talks with head of Death squad Shafiq Mengal and empowered him for whatever they want they can do. They said situation is very tense in Khuzdar and Wadh.
